Brei is a lovely 3-year-old Aussie mix who is about 40 pounds. Her ideal home will have kids and another dog to play with. She came to CO Herding Dog Rescue after she was struck by a car. She is a very lucky girl, she sustained a broken shoulder. Our vet said the shoulder will heal on its own but she may always have a slight limp due to the configuration of the bones. This, however, has not stopped Brei from being an energetic dog and playing.

Brei could easily carry the nickname "kisses" for all the doggie smooches she loves to give.

She enjoys a busy household, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a super active or outdoorsy one. Brei just likes being with the family and in the midst of the normal household activities - dinner time, playing in the yard, hanging out while you're working or watching TV.

She does great with kids and other dogs, and is cautiously curious about cats.

Brei has good basic household manners. She uses the dog door to take herself outside for bathroom breaks, is sleeping overnight in a crate, and is food motivated with treats to learn how to sit.

Brei is up to date on all vaccinations and spayed.
